Planets/Stars/Galaxies Lab

From 2014 to 2020, I thought a lab called "Planets/Stars/Galaxies" at Florida State University. I had the opportunity to guide students through this fascinating field of study. The class sizes were about 20 students per session. Over the course of each week, I conducted two 2-hour sessions where I introduced basic concepts of astronomy, ensuring that students acquired a solid understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, I familiarized them with telescopes and the coordinate system used to locate various astronomical objects in the sky. As part of my responsibilities, I graded astronomy lab reports and final exams, providing feedback to help students gauge their progress and enhance their learning experience. It was a rewarding experience to share my passion for astronomy and witness students' growth in their understanding of the cosmos.
